Itinerary

06:00 AM – Departure from Muscat
Early morning pick-up and 4x4 transfer to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest mountain.

09:00 AM – Safety Briefing & Gear Prep
Meet your expert guides at the canyon rim, receive your helmets, harnesses, ropes, and via ferrata gear. Detailed briefing on safety, abseil technique, and ascent procedures.

10:00 AM 

The Big Abseil
Begin your 150-meter descent down the towering dry waterfall. Experience the thrill of lowering yourself step by step into the vast canyon as your guides manage ropes and belay systems.

Canyon Exploration & Lunch
Short hike at the base of the waterfall, exploring hidden rock formations and enjoying a packed lunch in the shade.

Via Ferrata Climb
Clip onto the steel safety cable and climb your way back up using metal rungs, ladders, and narrow ledges. This exposed ascent rewards you with constant adrenaline and epic canyon views.

Return to Vehicles
Reach the rim of Jebel Shams, unclip your gear, and celebrate your accomplishment. Transfer back to Muscat by evening.
