CONQUER THE LEGENDARY HIGHLAND RIDGE

Wangedigala To Gommolliya Expedition

Wake before sunrise and prepare for one of Sri Lanka's most rewarding trekking adventures.

The Wangedigala to Gommolliya Trail in Kalupahana is a spectacular multi-peak ridge hike covering approximately 12–15 kilometres through some of the island's most untouched mountain landscapes.

The trail winds across dramatic ridgelines, rolling grasslands, ancient pine forests, cloud forests, rocky cliffs, and breathtaking mountain viewpoints that seem to stretch forever.

Throughout the expedition you'll conquer four remarkable peaks:

Wangedigala (1,150 m)

Famous for its dramatic cliff edge and panoramic mountain views, Wangedigala is one of Sri Lanka's most iconic hiking destinations and an absolute paradise for photographers.

Wangedikanda

Continue across scenic ridgelines where every turn reveals another spectacular mountain panorama.

Balathuduwa

Gommolliya Summit (2,034 m)
